The Clock is Ticking - We Need International Assistance Urgently.

We are no closer to securing the release of the 100 Greek strays, rescued, nursed back to health and loved by Greek and foreign advocates. Confiscated in Ancona, Italy, on their way to permanent homes in Germany and Holland, the dogs are the victims of a witch hunt carried out by Ioanna Garagouni, Chryssa Dile, Ministry of Agriculture Vet, and now unfortunately, ENPA, the Italian National Animal Protection Agency. They are convinced the animals are headed for vivisection.

This is ludicrous.

We must unite and

continue our

battle to free the

dogs from the

Italian officials and

third party ENPA.

IT IS

CRITICAL

THAT

WE ACT NOW

We appeal to you

to write to the

Greek and Italian

Ministers of Foreign

Affairs and press for their intervention and the release of the dogs, as well as for the censure of thoseGreek Citizens & Greek Officials responsible for thedemolition of Animal

Welfare in Greece. The Ministers intervention can ensure the release of the dogs and the continuation of their journey to their adoptive families in Europe.

I am literally begging you to help the Greek animals and the total decomposition of

Animal Welfare in Greece

Love & Respect,

Marijo

Greece Keeping an Eye on You

Dear Sir/Madam

Greek NGO’s are in crisis and need your intervention and now. Ms. Ioanna Garagouni  and Ms. Chyrssa Dile, the Ministry of Agriculture veterinarian, have been working in collusion against animal welfare and it’s advocates in Greece for several years. Holding hands with ENPA, they have once again thwarted the collective efforts of Greek and foreign animal activists to alleviate the brutal suffering of abandoned Greek dogs by re homing them in Germany and Holland. Their rigid interpretation of Greek law 3170, dramatically in need of reform, has facilitated their reprehensible and questionable personal agenda. This agenda should be investigated and terminated by other Ministries exerting power within the Greek government. Apparently, Minister of Agriculture, Basiakos and Deputy Minister Kontos have relegated their authority to Dile who has proceeded on a path of destruction with carte blanche.

We urge the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take note: Hundreds of messages have been sent to Greek Ambassador Anastasios Mitsialis in Rome for immediate and compassionate assistance for his Greek citizens in Italy. The Ambassador has ignored global requests for intervention. The reconciliation of the “Dogs in Ancona” tragedy is of the utmost importance if this perpetuating fiasco of animal protection in Greece is ever to be remedied.

We implore this specific department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intervene on behalf of the animals, the advocates and to reprimand those government officials within the Ministry of Agriculture, who are helping to tarnish the spectacular image of Greece abroad.
