Egypt - Land of the Paraohs
Egypt, a mystery land of ambiguity, enticement and temptation,
was once a magnificent civilization of truly “mythical” scope and
has held the world in awe for thousands of years. This wonder
of the world holds the Great Sphinx, the Ancient Pyramids of
Giza, (2500 B.C.) the Valley of the Kings, and the teachings of
the Divine Prophet Mohammed, in the palm of her hand. Egypt once enjoyed a distinguished location at the juncture of the ancient worlds and at one time in her illustrious past was the cross roads of the “heavenly” religions of the world. Egyptians proudly say that Egypt is the window to humanity’s distant past. We are certainly seeing evidence of just how distant! Modern day Egypt is but a shadow of her glorious past. She is a fractured civilization.
President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak has been called a charismatic leader of unquestionable honor and moral standards, yet the modern
day Arab Republic of Egypt has become polluted by a
plague that threatens to destroy her ancient glory.
In a bold move to seemingly undermine humanity and destabilize
her tourist trade; Cairo officials are beefing up their terror attacks
on the nation’s abandoned dogs. Officials bathe their feet in the
blood of innocents and sadistically shoot dogs between the
eyes and fire bullets into the bellies of pregnant females;
their tiny, unprotected fetuses spilling onto public roadways
in broad daylight as indifferent pedestrians look on and walk by.
Photos of Cairo’s savage canine carnage are striking rage, disgust, despair, and dread in the hearts and minds of vacationing travelers, activists and humane - atarians world wide!
While we know that the diverse cultures that empower this world of humans are in conflict; no rational, civilized and God fearing person comprehends or tolerates such blatant brutality. Obviously the Egyptian officials ordering the execution of these innocent beings and those savages carrying out their orders are neither rational, civilized or God fearing. Neglect or abuse committed against any living being, is evil in action.
The world wide community expresses its universal outrage and disgust to the national and municipal government officials of Egypt, to the Egyptian and international press and the public at large and demands the immediate termination of this ongoing, contemptible massacre of Egypt’s dogs.
CAIROS CANINE CARNAGE
All of the Koran's 114 Chapters except one, begin with the phrase "Allah is merciful and compassionate”. Muslims believe that showing compassion and charity is doing service to God. Therefore, it is written in the Koran: "No man is a true believer unless he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself. God will not be affectionate to that man who is not affectionate to God's creatures”.
Mohammed repeatedly forbade cruelty to animals, saying in the Hadith popular tradition, "Whoever is kind to the creatures of God is kind to himself."
Similarly, Mohammed taught "A good deed done to a beast is as good as doing good to a human being; while an act of cruelty to a beast is as bad as an act of cruelty to a human being."
The Koran (6:38) explains that such benevolence flows directly from God: "There is not an animal on Earth, nor a bird that flies on it's wings, but they are communities like you."

I am disgusted and outraged by the death and devastation surrounding the nationwide slaughter of Egypt’s abandoned animals. I appeal to your collective sense of humanity and decency to terminate this disgraceful brutality carried out by municipal officials, police and even citizens of your nation.
Egypt has turned a deaf ear to the cries of inhumanity for too long. Until Egypt brings visible evidence to the world community of a vigorous campaign to alleviate the suffering of all animals and seeks professional assistance to humanely remedy the gross overpopulation, neglect and brutal cruelty issues; you can be assured that my tourist money will be spent and appreciated in more animal friendly and civilized venues.
I will publicize the dreadful photographic evidence extensively and vigorously discourage tourism to your country. Perhaps a fiscal decrease in Egypt’s bottom line” will awaken her instinctive sense of humanity.
